RMCMI is proud to work with numerous organizations making strides to educate the public on the importance of coal in our nation.  The links below have an abundance of information on coal, from the extraction of coal from the ground, to the reclamation of the land after mining has been completed in a given area.  What are the various uses of coal?  How much is available in the U.S. and how long would that last if mining were to continue at the same rate as it has in recent years?  What about the arguments regarding the polution issue?  Are the arguments accurate?  You will see, by visiting these sites, that coal is abundant, and increasingly clean.  Please take a few minutes to educate yourself on why coal is so important to energy in the United States.
